Celery with Blue Cheese Dip recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Blue cheese is deliciously rich, whilst the mayonnaise is deliciously savoury and the white wine vinegar and Worcestershire sauce lovely and tangy - and all of these things work fantastically well with the crisp savouriness of the celery.

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of celery, snapped into stalks, stalks sliced on the diagonal into batons
  • 300g creme fraiche
  • 100g mayonnaise
  • 150g blue cheese
  • 1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mash the blue cheese into the creme fraiche, mayonnaise, white wine vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper and stir to combine all ingredients.

  2. Serve by dipping the celery into the dipping sauce.

You could also serve the dipping sauce with potato wedges, carrot batons or chips. Recipe serves 6.
